It's worth mentioning for those who will need somewhere to stay though! Personally, we think booking a hotel stay and/or a spa appointment is the way to go! If we had had longer in Pagosa Springs we'd 100% have waited for massage availability to open up to get the most bang for our buck! The hotel rooms look lovely, but we were camping in our truck camper so we didn't need accommodations on this trip. Guests who book a spa appointment at the on-site spa will receive general admission with their spa appointment.

Since we travel with our dog we knew we'd either only be able to stay for a few hours in the hot springs or we'd need re-entry to check in on him. The selling point for us was the re-entry option. While this ticket is double in cost than that of the general admission pass, the relaxation terrace package offers a few perks that sold us: re-entry into the hot springs, use of the five exclusive adult only pools on the Relaxation Terrace, plus a robe and locker included in the cost.
